The series of 5 Rudolph portraits featuring various antler shapes and gold ornaments. The ornaments are enhanced with gold glitter.
Rudolph - Gold Ornaments series is part of a larger study, three sets of five portraits, one with gold ornaments, one with jingle bells, and one with ornaments.
Each "Gold Ornament" portrait is done on a scrapbook from the 1950s, cleaned and sanded to give the worn look around the edge. Acrylic paint was used for the antlers, ornaments, and head; with the snout made from old sheet music.
Gold Ornaments #1 and 5 are in simple, light wood frames.
