Life on Earth | print

"Life on Earth" gets it's title from the butterfly's wings, which look similar to a map of the Earth. The butterfly and orange-red flowers both represent the life a brightness found on our planet. 

It was made using greenery from the yard and flower petals, with watercolors and colored pencil detailing. This piece was actually done on the cover of a scrapbook from the early 1900s.
