Blossoming Memories

Original flower petal art, using stock flowers, shrubbery leaves, and acrylic paint.

It was the centerpiece of the "Blossoming Memories" exhibit.

This piece is painted on the back of an old print based on a portrait of Jenny Lind, the "Swedish Nightingale." Lind was an opera singer in the 1800s. 

It is in the print's original frame, which was found at a flea market in Rose Bud, AR. The frame is believed to be from the 1890s!

Colors appear differently on different screens, especially between scans and original photos. We have tried to have as true of a scan available for printing and sharing online. Prints are made locally on linen-textured, white cardstock paper.
